So it's now the middle of my peds rotation, and it has been the worst of times and the best of times...
So the good news first...
I've gotten to do many things that I haven't been able to do in a while
Meet with friends
Knit a blanket
Meet with friends
Go to a piano recital
Write letters
Here's the bad news...
I've never been so sick before
I took in more pills than I ever did in all my years combined
I missed more days of work
I didn't know that the flu was so bad
I now understand why people fear a flu pandemic
I now can empathize much more with the people who come in sick
So I look forward to getting my normal nose back and my normal self
I've once again fallen behind on things... but hopefully I can catchup soon.
